Happy Anniversary

Today is our 14th Wedding Anniversary. I can't believe that it has been 14 yrs all ready. This morning my daughter Shellsea woke up early, went into my scrapbook room and made us a card. Let me remind you she is only 11. I thought she did a fabulous job. I know it's spelled wrong but anniversary is a big word. I couldn't believe that she even used my Cricut. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see how her card making and scrapbook skills progress.

My Messy Craft Space

Wow I'm actually embarrassed to post this(What we do for a Challenge...lol). But a clean craft room is an unused craft room in my book. I use mine daily to do something. Whether it be to make a card, to scrapbook, mend a pair of pants or just to get on the computer and read all the great inspiring blogs out there. I created a craft space so that I didn't have to clean up when I was done I could just pick right back up where I left off. So at the end of the day this is usually what you are going to find. I do clean it real good oh prob once a week and I tidy up every couple days.

Pine Wood Derby

This is the first time that Jaiden has been old enough to participate in the annual Pinewood Derby for scouts. We had a lot of fun making his car with him. It would have been a lot funner had we not waited till the last minute as usual. Last minute aside, he still came in second place. I made this page with the Certificate that they gave him which I reduced in size. I then cut 1 inch strips out of a full 12x12 black sheet of paper and White sheet of paper. I then weaved the strips together to make the background for the layout. Then used the Cars Cartridge for the Car of course and backed everything on Red paper.

Crop Night

So I decided to attend a Scrapbooking Crop for the first time in probably 5 years. I always stay home and scrapbook. I've got way to much stuff to try and figure out what to bring. But I decided I needed the interaction with other crazy addicted scrappers like myself. It really was a lot of fun and I was able to get more done in one night than I ever would have done at home. I just have way too many distractions at home. So here are the pages that I was able to get done...



This LO here I'm super excited about.The picture just doesn't do it justice. I know it's super plain but the back ground which I call paper lace I made with my Gypsy. I took several shapes from the Home Decor Cartridge and welded them all together to get this one big cut. I would post the file here but to be completely honest with you I haven't figured out yet how exactly to do that. So just let me know if you want it and I will e-mail it to you.


So I know that they are really basic pages but with the amount of catch up I have to do I've been trying not to spend too much time on each layout. So I'm making them quick and too the point, for now anyways.

Fun Times!

This is the first page of the River Season. This day we went out with some Friends who had Jet Skies. I don't know why I didn't have any jet ski pictures but I didn't. (next time)


For the Fun Times I used the Making the Grade Cartridge and for the Arrows I used the Going Places Cartridge. Then the circles I used the George and Basic Shapes.

Forever

I used the Home Decor cartridge for the flourishes and the forever.

Multiplication Flash Cards

The kids are at that age where it's time to start memorizing their times tables. They are constantly asking me, Mom whats 9x6 or what's 7x4? It's not that I don't want to give them the answers but they need to memorize them. I can't always be there to give them the answer. So I made this little flip book with the multiplication problem on the front and the answer on the back. I admit that it is pretty simple and boring but it gets the job done. So now whenever they ask I tell them to go look in there book. Now they can quiz each other and hopefully get them all memorized.
