The sponsor for this weeks challenge

Make sure you go check them out as the images are absolutely adorable, I Love them!
The giveaway is $15 gift certificate to
The Paper Shelter!

This week I chose to do The
"My little adorable witch" with the background of a different image. (You know to mix it up a bit)  I actually really LOVE how it turned out.

It is a super scraps challenge
so I grabbed some scrap paper to make the 5"x 5" card base and black and green scraps to frame the background.
I always go to my scrap pile first, how about you?

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

HIMCR #373 - Halloween Colors!

Can you believe it's already October?
I don't know about you but the first thing I think of
when I see October is Halloween.

This weeks HIMCR #373 Challenge is - Halloween Colors!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is A Day for Daisies!

The giveaway is $12 gift certificate to A Day for Daisies!

For this week I used the "Halloween Kitty" image
from A Day for Daisies!

The paper is just purple and yellow blank paper.  The Halloween print paper is from the Recollections Halloween paper pad.  The purple glitter paper is also recollections and the stamped sentiment on the pumpkin was a random stamp I found in my stash.

I felt like it needed more so I added an orange bow.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

HIMCR #372 - Freestyle!

It's that time again, time for this weeks challenge!!
This weeks is pretty laid back because it's freestyle week so yep you get to
just go with whatever flows.

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is MHK Designs!
The winner will get
3 products from MHK Designs online store!
How cool is that!!?

I used the Marvelous Collections from MHK Designs for this weeks challenge.  I didn't want to color it like normal so instead when I printed it out I printed it with a Laser printer and used my Minc to foil it.  It was super hard to get a good
Picture of the foil but it really turned out lovely.
This was my first time using my Minc since receiving it
from Heidi Swapp herself at Go Wild 2018.
(Thank you Heidi I LOVE it!)

Well thanks for stopping by and I do hope you
enter this weeks challenge.

HIMCR #370 - Back to School!

Hi Everyone!!

Oh My Goodness! I'm so super excited to be

I've let life just get in the way.  Well not anymore.
I saw a design team call and decided I was going to apply
and see what happens.  I didn't hear back for
quit a long time and then, there is was,
the e-mail saying yes, yes we'd love to have you on
our design team!  WHAT!!  I knew it was time
to get my paper crafting going again.  I'm trying new things in paper crafting so please bare with me.So with all that being said, here is this weeks challenge.

The sponsor is Crafty Sentiments Designs!
The giveaway is 3 images from Crafty Sentiments Designs!

HIMCR #370 - Back to School!

Head over and see the inspiration from my teamies!!

For this weeks challenge I used the Day Dreaming
I colored it with Artist Loft Alcohol markers. (Michael's brand Copics) and cut him out.
Next I took some ink from Stampin' up ink pad, Cranberry Crisp and inked the edges and around the white paper of the card.
I then stamped the sentiment, "thinking of you", onto the bottom right corner.
Next I cut out the image and using dimensional dots I attached him to the white paper which was then attached to the red paper from Recollections and finally adhered with ATG to the white card base.
It's very basic and doesn't scream school theme but wouldn't it be a cute card to send a grand baby or niece or nephew maybe starting a new school year just letting them know that you are thinking about them?

This is really my first experience coloring with alcohol markers.  I've been buying them but have yet to put them to real use. I see in the picture that I have lots of practice to be doing and I'm so grateful for this opportunity.

"Come Unto Christ..." Water Bottles

Today I'm having one of those days when things to do are just piling up and then something big and unnecessary just throws you over the edge.  You know the days when you just don't think you can take anymore on your plate.
It really hurts my heart when people we love make such wrong decisions.  I really wish they knew how much it effects those around them and not just themselves.

So while I've been struggling with these kinds of questions I thought I would share with you the water bottles I made for my Young Women in my ward at church.

I made these last year.  Our theme was "Come unto Christ and be perfected in him..."
I gave each girl one on her birthday.

I hope that as we see the world falling apart around us that they will remember to "Come unto Christ"  I wish I could make and give these bottles to everyone as a reminder but I don't have that much time or money for that matter.

I guess all we can do is pray for those who need strength and just do all we can to endure till the end.

Each bottle was personalized with the girls name.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
