Elmo

Hey everyone, hope your day is going good. It's my Birthday today so I guess that is why I'm posting birthday related cards. Actually it's just a coincidence. But anyways had some down time it's eerily quiet here and I wanted to share a couple cards I had done for a little girls birthday party.

These are standard A2 size Cards.
I cut Elmo from Sesame Street Friends at 3.75.
The balloons were cut from Celebrate with flourish using the Imagine to color them. Then I embossed using the Swiss dots embossing folder.  I grouped them all together and secured them with ribbon.
The pink background paper is embossed using the Divine Swirls embossing folder.
Then I cut a small white piece of paper and stamped the sentiment.

I used Sesame Street Friends for Elmo and cut him out at 3.75"
The banner was cut from Christmas Cheer cut out at 0.8"
Using the A2 Happy Birthday Embossing folder I embossed the background paper.
Added a piece of ribbon and a little bow.
Then stamped the sentiment

Thanks for dropping in to look around, don't forget to say hi!

Slam Dunk!!

Happy Monday, if there is such a thing...lol.  I can't believe how busy things have been lately. My Daughters Basketball season ended my Sons Baseball Season began and I've had orders for Cards and custom books.  I'm also excited to say that I am building me a new website.  I will give more information as it comes available.

Now as I said earlier my Daughter was in Basketball and this past weekend they had there little end of the season banquet.  We had gotten the Coach and his Wife a movie gift card and so we needed a card to put it in.  Well just so happens I know someone who does that.

I made this card using Paper Dolls for everyday for the doll and the basketball Hoop.  The Slam Dunk came from the Basket Ball Solutions Cartridge and The coaches name was cut from Don Juan.
The Teams name was the suns so I tried to incorporate as Suns much as possible.

Thanks for looking, come back again soon!

Disney Happy Birthday!

Happy Friday!  I've been home all week with a sick boy so it doesn't seem much like a Friday but hey I'll take it.  If you read my earlier post you know I just fine tuned my Imagine and it's been working fantastic.  I had made some 3" Disney Characters for some note cards and they were too small.  So I had them left over.  I decided to make a birthday card using only the Imagine.

The base of this card is 6 1/2" x 5"
I used Imagine More Cards for the background paper and for the Happy Birthday across the bottom.
Then I just added some pop dots to the back of Mickey and Donald and stuck them on.  I used to hate cutting the Mickey Characters out because I couldn't get the colors right or all the layers were too much.  But with the Imagine it is a piece of cake. I love it!

Duct Tape Wallets

Well the new thing at our house lately is Duct tape wallets.  I know it's so yesterday but it's big at our house. We've been having so much fun mixing and matching colors.  We even started using paper in our Duct Tape Wallets.  Yes Paper.  So we can customized wallets for all the kids in my sons 5th grade class.  It's been a lot of fun and the sky's the limit as to what we can do.  I love that my 10 yr old son can do it.

OK so the Hello Kitty Wallet was made with paper.  We took paper and put clear packing tape over it and backed it with pink duct tape.  I think it turned out super cute.  I then took another little piece of Duct Tape and made a little clasp.  I used the sewing machine to sew on the clasp so there was no coming off.  I then used sticky back Velcro. This is what we got. Forget the Dooney Wallet, lol I think I'm going to switch to Duct Tape.

These are only the few I remembered to take pictures of.  I will post more as we make them.  I would love to hear what you think.

Disney Note Cards!

OK I have to start by saying I absolutely LOVE my Imagine.  I've never had a problem with it.  Well never until the last update.  It just didn't take then wouldn't recognize the standard cartridges.  I don't like spending hours on things like that, its just not worth it for me.  I always use my Imagine with my Disney Cartridges so I can match the RGB Codes and get the perfect colors.  So I let the Imagine sit and sit and sit.   The other day I decided to try and do the update again and it worked! I did the the calibration and it worked also. So I made these little Disney note cards.  They are super simple and I'm thinking I will bundle them together and give them as a gift.

I used the Mickey and Friends Cartridge and cut the characters at 4"
Did some doodling around the card and used the iRock to adhere the little hearts, gems or crystals.

Butterflys and sparkle

Today's card I'm sharing with you was made for my Secret Sister.  I hope she doesn't follow my blog...LOL. Actually I hope she does follow my blog but hope she missed this post.  I'm on a Facebook group and we all are assigned a secret sister.  We all post a little about who we are and what we like.  Then you have a place to go to learn a little about you secret sister.  Then you mail something to her.  My sister's favorite color was purple so of course I used purple.  She also likes butterfly's and sparkle.  I Incorporated all that into the design of this card.  I didn't stamp any sentiment on the card and I sent her 4 of them.  This way she can adjust the card to any occasion by a simple stamp or can just leave them blank.

The butterfly was cut from the Sophie Cartridge. I cut the circle from George and Basic Shapes.  I then ran the circle through the Cuttlebug.  The circle and butterfly is outlined with purple Stickles.  Then I added some black doodling around the card.

Well I hope she loves her cards and other little goodies I sent her.  If she is anything like me anything crafty is always completely appreciated.

My Life is Brighter because of you!

Happy Friday!  Today I have a happy card.  Well it makes me smile.  I found this stamp in a $1 bin and created the card around the sentiment.  There is nothing brighter then the Sun so I used the sun from the Create a Critter cartridge as my theme.

The paper I used are all scraps and the satin ribbon is also a scrap.  I outlined the card and the sun with yellow stickles.  I love how it makes it sparkle.

Well thanks for stopping by and please come back again soon!
