You've Got a Friend in Me

I'm a sucker for Toy Story! It's one of my most favorites.  With that said, I had to have this cartridge.  I have found that the Character cuts are so much easier to cut out with the Imagine, so that is what I used.  I found the RGB codes for Toy Story, filled each layer and my machine cut and printed. I love the simplicity!!

I cut Woody out at 5".  The card itself is 5x6 1/2".  The sentiment I printed off of the computer and punched it.  I tried to distress the brown paper with brown ink and then I added some gold glimmer mist.  You can kinda see it in the photo.  The Woody and the brown piece of paper is attached using pop dots.

I hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by, I'd love to hear from ya.

Word collage

Hi everyone! I'm back from Atlanta and wow what a fabulous conference it was.  I feel rejuvenated for my family business and a lot of things crafty.  I want to show you an Instagram picture I took from our hotel room in Atlanta.  We were on the 41st floor.  This is by far my most favorite picture I have ever taken.

Well before I left I was a complete stressed out mess.  The hubby knows the one thing that always no matter what makes me smile and that is Cartridges.  So he told me to take a break and go buy a new Cartridge. Well I can never say no to that.  Word Collage is one I've been looking for for a while and they had it so I picked it up.

I was so excited to use it.  I found the crafty one and I loved it.  My daughter paints on canvas's and so I grabbed a 12x12 canvas.  I cut the collage in vinyl and attached it to the canvas.  Then I painted it green.

Once the paint dried I sanded it down and then took off the vinyl.  I can't wait to try some wood and so many other things.

Well thanks for stopping by,  I'd love to see what you made using this cartridge so please leave me a link and I will check it out.

Baptism Invites

Hi and TGIF!  Yes thank goodness it's Friday.  This has been a long week.  That and I'm getting ready for a business trip for next week and though I will be away from my kids for 4 days I'm going to miss my Cricuts the most.  Did I just say that out loud?  There both at that preteen age and all they do is fight with each other and my son is getting pretty mouthy.  I need a few days to gather my thoughts and be able to come back fresh and ready to tackle whatever comes at me. LOL Well that is the plan anyways.
Well for now I wanted to show you my most resent custom card order.  I have a friend who's son is getting Baptised and most of her family is from out of town.  She wanted something nice to be able to send out to family and friends inviting them to this special occasion.  This subject in card making was a first for me.  Although they took me a lot longer to do then most cards I really like how they turned out.

Card is 5 1/2 x 6 1/2 size
Cartridge is from Inspired hearts I cut the frame off that went around the image and used it to also cut out the word baptism.
The sentiment is from Stamping up
The blue background shape was cut with Lacy Labels.

I stacked them neatly on there matching envelopes and tied them up with a bow.

Thanks for stopping by, come back again soon.

p.s. New website coming soon! (That's why the watermark doesn't match this blog.)

Happy Easter everyone!  I hope that you find yourself and you family in good health.  Today I couldn't help but think of all the things I have to be so grateful for.  I am truly blessed.

I also wanted to show another quick Easter Card I made.

The bunny is from Create A Critter.  The stamp is a $1 bin stamp. I used scrap paper from the other Easter card I had made earlier. Then the ribbon was also a scrap from my stash.

Happy Easter Eve!

Hello I hope everyone is having a great Saturday.  Our Weather here in AZ is beautiful.  Today I wanted to share another quick couple cards I made for Easter.

I used Create A Critter on both of them.  The Stamps were $1 bin stamps and the Ribbon was from my stash.

The border punch I used is Martha Stewart.  I added Googly eyes on both of them to give them a little more personality.

Well thanks for stopping by and taking a look,  Please come back soon.

Easter Wishes!

Happy Friday! It's almost Easter and so I made a few Easter cards.  The other night I had completely lost my mojo.  I couldn't think of anything crafty if my life had depended on it.  So knowing that Easter was coming I was going to need to make cards I just took some time to cute out a couple of bunnies and chicks.  So when I finally got my mojo I back I was able to sit right down and make a card and not have to cut.

The first card I made using the Chick from Create A Critter.  I cut it first using my Gypsy and hiding the face.  I have the Peachy Keen faces and well they just didn't look right.  It said for 3-4" and this was cut at 3.75".  I just added some googly eyes instead and used the original beak.

The plaid paper is from the Spring DCWV pack.  The pink paper I embossed using the 5x7 Polka Dots Cuttlebug Embossing folder.  The Easter wishes stamp was a $1 bin stamp punched out with an eKsuccess punch.  The ribbon is from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look.  Please don't forget to leave a comment and come back again soon!!
