Dr. Who Tardis Card

Hi! So on a normal day,
I would have absolutely no idea what this was. In fact there was a time I had no idea what this was.
It looked like some weird old phone booth looking thing.

But I learned quickly from my teenage daughter that this blue box phone booth looking
thingy is a Tardis.  Yep you read that right T-a-r-d-i-s.

Weird I think but it's from a show called Dr. Who and she is hooked on it.  I don't get it or care for it much but she loves it.  So because she loves it so much I decided to make her a Tardis Card for her birthday.

The cool thing about the Tardis is that on the outside it looks like a simple phone booth if you will, but when you open and go inside it is huge. So that is the thought behind this card.

The outside looks like a normal card.

But when you open it it's huge inside!

I think she got a kick out of it. I tried anyways.

Well thanks for stopping by and taking a look, come back again soon.

Our Love Story ~Timeline

Hi! Can you believe school is starting up again?  Where did the summer go?
I was so busy I guess it just passed me by.

This next project is one I completed this summer.
You might think it looks simple, nothing fancy.  Well it's a lot harder then it looks.
From weeding all the negative parts out to lining everything up.
It was a lot of work but I like how it turned out and I think my friend/customer did too!

Now this is solid Wood and measured (I believe) 16" x 40". It's a big and heavy mumbo jumbo. LOL
She originally wanted me to just do the vinyl that she could put on her wall.  But then she mentioned that she might be moving soon.  That is a lot of work to put on a wall just to move and it's not like the next family that moves in can use it.  So I made it on Wood so she can take it with her no matter where she goes.

They just adopted 2 more and it was nice that I could add them onto the Timeline just in time for the adoption.
Thanks for stopping by to take a look, come back again soon!

Band for Life Rhinestone Shirt

Hello! Longest week ever it seems. I've felt like tomorrow is Friday all week long. Almost there.

Well my daughter is going into her second year of High School.
The one thing that she absolutely enjoys in High School is the Band.
It keeps her busy, she meets lots of new people and learns the art of Music.
I too was a Band "Geek".  But band are the memories from high school that remember.

Rhinestones in this Design are crystal, black and dark blue.  I love how it turned out.

Well thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Glass Cutting boards

Have you seen these little glass cutting boards?
 I absolutely LOVE them.

They come in square and Circle.

I flipped the design before I cut it out.  Then applied it to the back of the cutting boards.

I personalized one for my sister for a small wedding gift.

It was hard taking pictures of these since they are clear.
But thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Hardships 12x12 tile

Hello, Today I want to show you a 12x12 tile I did up.

There is a local police officer fighting cancer and they are doing a fundraiser dinner and silent auction.  I'm going to donate this tile.  I thought this saying was fitting for the circumstances.

I've gotten so good a weeding the vinyl I'm thinking about doing a video showing you how I do it....

Anyways, thanks for stopping in to take a look.

England T-shirts!

Hi and Hello Monday!!

I look forward to Monday for 2 reasons. 1) Bachelorette finale is tonight (Don't judge me ;)) and 2.) It's $.99 Cream slush day at Sonic and date night!  Every Monday the Hubby and I go get a cream slush and go for a drive.  Just something we look forward to every week.  Did I mention we celebrated our 18th Wedding anniversary yesterday?  Time sure does go fast.

Speaking of time going fast, I can't believe summer vacation is almost over.
One of the many many things we did this summer, my daughter and I went to girls camp for our Church.
It was a lot of fun.  Each ward or group of girls was to choose a country to represent and we chose England.

I got a heat press in March for my Birthday and so I take every chance I get to use it to make shirts.
So these are the shirts I made for each of the girls.

These photos really don't do them justice, they look great!
Well thanks for swinging by and taking a look, come back again soon!!

Graduation cards

Hello!
Today I wanted to show you some graduation cards
my daughter and I made for a couple of her friends who were graduating.

We didn't make envelopes  for these cards.  We made them fold up.
We sewed a button on the top and made a little tassel out of yarn.
Then added  a little doodling.

Her friends really liked them.
Thanks for stopping in and taking a look!

Teacher's name Wooden sign

Hello and Happy Sunday!

Today I wanted to show you a wooden sign I made for a teacher friend of mine.
This gal has been through so much and fought so hard to get where she is today and I'm so proud and happy for her.

I love working with wood and building things. So I made her this name sign out of wood.

I cut  a 2x4 and then cut a point out of the top all with my miter saw.
Then I painted it.  I painted both sides of the sign so no matter where she put it her name can be seen.
I then wrap some twine around the end by the eraser to give it some texture.

I really loved making this sign.  I think I might try my hand at some more wood projects!!

Well thanks for stopping in and taking a look, come back again soon!

Twins!!

Hi!
I wanted to show you these cute onesie's I made. Well I didn't "make" the onsie,
 I decorated them. LOL

So a friend of mine found out she was having twin girls.
I wanted to do something different.

So I made them "copy"  & "paste" onsies.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon!

Hello and Happy Hump Day!
So instead of a Camel for Hump day, I have an elephant. LOL.

So I've kinda tapped into the Rhinestone world and I LOVE it!
I think I've been blinging everything.

My MIL loves elephants and she loves bling so I made her an elephant Bling shirt for her 70th Birthday.

I couldn't get a good picture, sorry.

This image has 3 different sizes of stones and a total of  954 stones.

I will have to figure out a better way to photograph these shirts because these pictures just don't do it justice.

But thanks for talking a look!

Wedding Invitation

Hi! Today's project is Wedding Invitations.

I made these for a gal for her wedding invites.
I did them 2 different ways, with the paper wrapped around with a ribbon and with just a ribbon.

I liked how they both turned out.

Then the envelope to match, of course. :)

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look.

I am as Lucky as can be....

Hi! I hope you've had an enjoyable Sunday.

I wanted to share a quick project I did for a cousin for Father's Day.
Of course there needs to be a photo in the center, it was added later.

In case you can't read it, it says;
I'm as lucky as can be
the Best Daddy in the world belongs to me!

I think it turned out super cute and it was quick and easy to make!

Thanks for stopping by, come back again soon!

Super Avid Card

Hi! So much going on these days.
I can't seem to craft and blog at the same time.  I either blog or I craft.
Well your in luck, and today is blog day. LOL!

So my son is in a school program called Avid.  He absolutely loves his Avid teacher and wanted me to make her something special for the end of the year.  Of course this is the night before (sigh*).

I went with the A in the Super Man shield.

Then I made her a tumbler.  What teacher can't use a Tumbler especially when it has her name on it!

I hope that she liked it.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.  I have lots more to show you so come back again soon!!

Hi and
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I'm super excited for this weekend.  My Husband coaches our son's baseball Travel team and it's tournament time.  I love watching them in action.

It's also Graduation season and this year my mom is graduating from UofA.  I'm so proud of her for going back to school.

I got the honor of decorating her grad cap and since I've been dipping into rhinestone designs lately I decided to make hers sparkle. She said I could do whatever I wanted to it.

It's not perfect and this photo is really bad but it does sparkle.  I was able to put it right in my heat press and it did great!

So this morning (graduation morning) I get a text from my mom asking me if it would be too late to do another cap.  I love  making people smile and I love what I do so I took on a last minute cap.  She decided what she wanted and I just did it.

I think it turned out great.

Well thanks for taking a look at my cap projects.
Congratulations to all the 2014 graduates whether it be high school or college, job well done!
