Ice Cream Sundae Appreciation

I haven't done a Teacher appreciation gift in a while. If your just tuning in and wonder what the gifts are for, I make them for the teachers we have in Primary at church.  We had each teacher including music, fill out an about me paper.  Then we take one every couple of weeks and highlight that teacher.  We then give them the gift bag with the clipboard and the little composition notebook.  It's just our little way of letting them know how special they are to us and to help all the kids get to know the teachers a little bit more.

The Gift bag started out white.
* I punched with the Martha  Stewart double loop punch down the  sides of a piece of black paper.
* Then topped it with the red paper from DCWV the Extreme pack
* Added some black Satin ribbon and a bow
*Then attached the Ice Cream Sundae cut at 6" from Sweet Treats.

To make The Clipboard I bought the Clipboard at the $1 store.
*Paper is from the DCWV Extreme Paper pack
* I cut the Sundae from Sweet Treats at 5"
* Ran the White ice Cream through the Cuttlebug using the Polka Dot folder.
* I used Garnet colored Martha Stewart Glitter for the Cherry.
* Inked the edges of board in black and doodled on Ice Cream.

The Small Composition Notebooks measure at 4.5"x3.25". I also get them at the $1 store in a pack of 3 .                           * The paper is from scraps from the clipboard and the small Ice Cream I cut at 3 inches.                                                    * The "Notes" is cut from vinyl. I cut a whole sheet of them a while back so they were all ready.
This particular spotlight was our Pianist.  Her favorite color was Red and her favorite food is Ice Cream.  So we try to make there gift according to the things they like.

Well that is all I have for you today. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look, I hope to see you back again soon.

Side Step Style Happy Birthday Card

Hello all my bloggie friends. I'm in a particularly good mood today. No reason really, just in a good mood.  I made this card a couple of days ago for a friend of mine with a birthday.  It's a side step card but it's different in the fact that the back of the card goes all the way up.  I think I might make a video showing how to make this style card but haven't gotten to it yet, but keep an eye out if your interested.
On this card I used the Sweet Treats Cartridge for all the cuts.  I added pink stickles to the cake and clear stickles to the gift bows.  If I could change something about this card it would be the "happy birthday" sentiment.  Not excited how that turned out but was happy with the rest.

Well thanks for looking and stay tuned for more information about how to do this great card!

Gift Card Holders

Hey everyone! If any of you are like me you watch everything that goes into the garbage because, "I might be able to do something with that."  Well that went for the Toilet paper rolls as well.  I wanted something cute to mail a gift card in.

The frog and the bee are from Create a Critter and the cute little dancing owl is from Twinkle Toes.

Here is a quick show of how I made these.

This cupcake was make using the Sweet Treats Cartridge. I used Martha Stewart
Tourmaline Glitter for the heart.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you back again soon!

A Sweet Thanks!

I found this "thanks you're sweet" stamp in the dollar bin at M's. I had all ready made this card in my head before I left the store.

I used Sweet treats for the cupcake. I cut it with the Imagine at 4.8". I used the polk a dot cuttlebug folder on the top of the cupcake.
For the light brown background I used the swirl cuttlebug folder for the texture. I used a Inkssentials opague pen for the white dash around the card.
Then for the Sentiment, like I said, I got from the $1 bin at M's and the I used the eK punch to the black.

For the heart I ran it through my Xyron, permanent adhesive, then sprinkled Martha Stewart tourmaline glitter on it.

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!!

Birthday Cupcakes

These are the Cupcakes that I made for my son's class at school on his 9th Birthday. He also had his last Baseball game on his Birthday so I made a bunch to take to his Baseball Team. A total of 50 or so. I used the George and Basic Shapes for the 9's, (which are 2 sided by the way). Then used the Sweet Treats Cartridge for the Cupcake holders. I think they were a hit.
