Pause Dream Enjoy Ch #36 Music

Hello and Happy Friday!

It has been a long week and I welcome the weekend with open arms. But first it's Pause Dream Enjoy challenge Day, YAY!!

This weeks challenge is music. Do you play an instrument or do you wish you did? I actually do. I played the trumpet for 8 years and I can also play the piano but I didn't make a project about what I can play but what I would love to play. I went with a guitar. Who doesn't like to rock out with a guitar? I wish I knew how to play. Here is my card. Pause Dream Enjoy Ch#30

Hello and welcome to another Challenge from

Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges!

This week we are on Challenge #30 which is "Sports and Hobbies"

Create any type of project with either your favorite Sport or Hobby

Now normally I would've jumped all over the "sports" part of this challenge. I'm an athlete to the core. I played Volleyball through High School and into College. I was playing Volleyball a few weeks ago went up for a spike got into a little mix up at the net with the guy on the other side and well I came down on my ankle. This was 10 days before I was suppose to play in a 3 man Tournament. I've never in all my years of playing had an ankle injury and let me tell ya it has been horrible. So back to the point of this story, LOL. I'm bitter that I've had to be laid up hardly able to do anything for myself. So even though as soon as I can walk again and my ankle isn't purple blue and green I will be back out on the court I decided to go with a hobby for this challenge.

My hobby is scrapbooking and the first thing I think of when I think of scrapbooking is Cricut and the first cartridge I thought of was Cricut Decals.

The stick queen was cut using Cricut Decals which came pre installed in my E2 and was cut at 3.59"

The "Scrapbook Queen" Was cut using Cricut Everyday at 1.39"

The background shape is from Pop-Up Neighborhood and cut at 5.63"

The paper I used is DCWV "The Dazzle Stack"
Then finished it off with some Zebra printed Ribbon.

It's Officially Summer Blog Hop ~ Day 2

Welcome back to day 2 of the It's Officially Summer Blog Hop. I am so grateful for everyone who stopped by yesterday and left comments. It's such a blessing to have all my fabulous followers. Without you we probably wouldn't blog. Also a huge shout out to Jill over at The Scrapoholic for hosting a fun Hop and all the talented ladies who made projects to share. It's been an honor. Today's Project I did a card. I participate in a card swap each month and this is the card I made for the month of July. When I think summer I automatically think Sun. The cut I used for this sun is from the new E2 preloaded cartridge Cricut American Alphabet. I then ran it through the Cuttlebug Polk a dot folder. The base color looks blue in the photo but it's actually purple. I used the cuttlebug and embossed it with the swirl folder. The little guy I cut using Cricut Decals. I thought he was perfect for summer holding the ice cream.
