The giveaway is 3 online products!

This week I was able to finally find a paper pack I've been searching for so I was so super excited to use it for this card.

No automatic alt text available.

I printed this image on a light pink wood grained paper.  Then I added pink foiling to the Santa to keep with the pink/gold paper theme.  Love it!

HIMCR #381 - Christmas Colors!

HIMCR #381 - Christmas Colors!

Hello! It's that time again!

This weeks challenge is Christmas colors and well the common, I guess, colors would be Green and red?  But I'm noticing more and more that Christmas is being celebrated in all
kinds of different colors.

.
The giveaway is 3 online sets from The Cutting Cafe!

I decided since I was working with Snowmen to go with the            standard Christmas winter wonderland with the white and                                                        blue colors.
It's hard to see in this photo but the snow flakes on the card is                                      heat embossed in white.
The "Winter Wonderland" is also embossed in silver.

The snow on the bottom of the card is a textured
snow paste I had in my stash.  It added a little dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
I hope you will play along and enter the challenge.

HIMCR #379- Thank You!!

Hello, it's that time again,

 HIMCR #379 - Thank you!

Doesn't have to be a card! You can scrapbook something you are thankful for!

The sponsor for this weeks challenge
 is Ike's!

The giveaway is $15 gift certificate to Ike's Art!

We got to choose between 4 -5 images and the cornucopia is the one that I chose.

I printed 2 of them.  One I colored with water color pencils and the other I colored with alcohol markers.  I asked my daughter (19) which one she like the best and she chose the brighter colored one done with marker.

I Tried all the different colored card stock behind this cornucopia and well nothing look good except white.  I found this white rippled paper and thought it looked perfect.

I added the little "Happy Thanksgiving" tag which is just paper cut into squares and my own handwriting.

I felt like it was still needing something else and that was when I decided to add the twine on the side.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.  Hope you will enter your "Thank You" themed paper craft.

Over at Hiding in my craft room.

Thank you!

 HIMCR #37 - Freestyle!

The sponsor is Limited Runs Digital Stamps!

This week I chose to do the Monster 5 digital image.
It is a Freestyle challenge so we are free to do what our creative little hearts desire.

I used paper from the Monsters and Robots
paper pack from Recollections and the "BOO" stamp was an old wooden Craft smart stamp probably from Michael's.
Haha doesn't it look like he's throwing his hands up and saying Boo!?

The paper is just purple and yellow blank paper.  The Halloween print paper is from the Recollections Halloween paper pad.  The purple glitter paper is also recollections and the stamped sentiment on the pumpkin was a random stamp I found in my stash.

just go with whatever flows.

The sponsor for this weeks challenge is MHK Designs!
The winner will get
3 products from MHK Designs online store!
How cool is that!!?

I used the Marvelous Collections from MHK Designs for this weeks challenge.  I didn't want to color it like normal so instead when I printed it out I printed it with a Laser printer and used my Minc to foil it.  It was super hard to get a good
Picture of the foil but it really turned out lovely.
This was my first time using my Minc since receiving it
from Heidi Swapp herself at Go Wild 2018.
(Thank you Heidi I LOVE it!)

Hi Everyone!!

I've let life just get in the way.  Well not anymore.
I saw a design team call and decided I was going to apply
and see what happens.  I didn't hear back for
quit a long time and then, there is was,
the e-mail saying yes, yes we'd love to have you on
our design team!  WHAT!!  I knew it was time
to get my paper crafting going again.  I'm trying new things in paper crafting so please bare with me.So with all that being said, here is this weeks challenge.

HIMCR #370 - Back to School!

Head over and see the inspiration from my teamies!!

For this weeks challenge I used the Day Dreaming
I colored it with Artist Loft Alcohol markers. (Michael's brand Copics) and cut him out.
Next I took some ink from Stampin' up ink pad, Cranberry Crisp and inked the edges and around the white paper of the card.
I then stamped the sentiment, "thinking of you", onto the bottom right corner.
Next I cut out the image and using dimensional dots I attached him to the white paper which was then attached to the red paper from Recollections and finally adhered with ATG to the white card base.
It's very basic and doesn't scream school theme but wouldn't it be a cute card to send a grand baby or niece or nephew maybe starting a new school year just letting them know that you are thinking about them?

This is really my first experience coloring with alcohol markers.  I've been buying them but have yet to put them to real use. I see in the picture that I have lots of practice to be doing and I'm so grateful for this opportunity.
