Happy Birthday ~Never ending card

Hello and TGIF!
It felt like Friday all day yesterday so today is just dragging on.
That and it's been raining all day and that's really weird for our parts.

My niece had a birthday and she turned 10.  I didn't want to do a boring regular fold card so I made her a never-ending.

With all of her favorites of course, Purple, monkeys, flowers....

Well that's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Come back again soon.

Stand Ye In Holy Places

Hello! Happy Hump day!

I have another bottle I wanted to share with you today.  I'm so hooked on these bottle lights.

This one the inspiration came from a church calling that I have.  This years theme is to "Stand ye in Holy Places, and be not moved"

The Vinyl cuts all came from the Silhouette Store.  The little bunch of White berries are from Michael s and then I just used White Toole for the bow. Easy Peasy!

Thanks for taking time to stop by and take a look!  Do you make Bottle lights? If so, I'd love to see them so send me a link. See ya soon!!

My Little "Criminal"

Hello and Happy Saturday!
Today I'm meeting with the Sister's from my church to craft and I'm super excited.
But first I wanted to show you a notebook I made for daughter,
 the Yuma High School Criminal.

My daughter is a freshman at Yuma High School.  Back when Yuma High was young like 1920's it caught fire.  The students couldn't meet there so they ended up meeting in the old Territorial prison that was closed down.  Well when other sports teams would come to town to play YHS they would call them criminals because they were in a Jail.  Well the name has stuck with the school ever since.

Besides the fact I attended High School at YHS's rivalry school across town I have grown to like this school too.

So my daughter needed a composition notebook decorated for a class at school and all the kids were required to take one in.  So I made hers undeniably hers.

I love decorating these kinds of books and  I love how this one turned out.  I used my Silhouette Cameo for the logo and name and the background shape cut I believe is from my Cricut.

Well thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Please, come back anytime!

Triple Threat!

Hi! So for those of you who didn't know
 I LOVE VOLLEYBALL!
So any chance I get to play I jump all over it.

Our Church plays for fun a couple times a week and has a tournament 1-2 x's a year.  I sprained my ankle pretty bad last year and couldn't play but this year I was ready to go!

It was a 3 man tournament and we wanted to make shirts to match each other and this is what we came up with.

I loved how they turned out!  Our team did pretty well too, we took 4th out of 26 teams and the team that ended up winning we had beat in the first round.  We were super excited.

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look, please come back again anytime!

Happy Birthday Easel Card

Hello!  Don't you love it when
your daughter comes in and asks you to make a card for her friend who's birthday is coming up.  You ask when she needs it and she needs it right away! What! Seriously?

So this is one of those cards.  I was not thrilled about and I changed it up over and over and kept adding and adding and finally ran out of time.

The Birthday Sentiment I believe is from Stampin Up.

Well my daughters friend loved the card and her mom loved it even more, LOL.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look, I hope you come back again soon.

Wine Bottle Lights

Hi and Happy Fall, I guess it's fall?
Its still in the 90's here in AZ and I couldn't believe
I had my A/C on in the middle of November.

So my latest venture has been turning wine/Alcohol bottles into lights.  They are so much fun and super easy to do.

The first problem I had though with this project is I'm not a drinker, at all.  So who was going to drink all this wine/Alcohol?  Not anyone I knew really so I had to looks else where.

I remembered that every time we go to Olive Garden they always ask if we want a sample of wine.  So that's where I went.

The manager was super nice and was able on the spot to pick me up 15 bottles.  So in return I told him I would make him a light and to let me know what themed light he would want.  He then told me to come back in a couple days and he would have more bottles, so I did.  My kitchen table was covered in wine bottles, LOL.  I asked him on the second trip what theme he'd decided on and he said that since they were Olive Garden bottles that I should make one for the Olive Garden, so I did.  But I thought it was super nice of him to not take the bottle for himself so I made one for him as well.

Here is the Olive Garden one (plugged in)....

I made the Olive Garden Logo using my Silhouette Cameo.  Bought the grapes from Michael's and wrapped it all up with some raffia I had on hand.

Here is what it looks like when it's not plugged in.....

Ok so the Manager said he liked the 49ers, so I found a logo and worked with it the best I could and came up with this.  It seemed rather plain for me but if I added too much more to it I was afraid it would look too feminine.

Here it is plugged in....

When I brought the bottles back for him to see what I do with them I couldn't believe how excited they all were.  All the employees were coming over and trying to call dibs on the SF one, LOL.   So needless to say if and when I need more bottles I think I shouldn't have a problem getting some. Thanks Olive Garden!!  And thank you for stopping in and taking a look.  Hope you come back again soon.

Keep Calm and Coach on ~ T-shirt.

OK so I said I would show you the T-Shirt
that I made for the hubby.  As you've probably read in earlier posts he is a baseball coach.  He's so good at it too.  He coach's a Travel Team that won state last year and he coaches league.
Well it was his birthday this past week and to him it's just another day.  But he does so much for us I tried to make his day special, even though he hates it.  I knew he wouldn't want me to buy him anything so I had to get creative. (Not hard, he he)
You know how the "Keep Calm and ..."  have been all the rage?  Well I kept with it.
I saw a shirt that had a baseball on it and it said "Keep Calm and Play on"  Well he doesn't play anymore, but he does coach!! The light bulb came on, lol.  "Keep Calm and Coach on"  It was perfect!!  I all ready had the White iron on Vinyl and a plain black T-shirt.

He seemed to like it.  He opened it and put it on then wore it to the game that night.  Fun stuff!  I really like the iron on vinyl.

Well thanks for stopping in to take a look!! Hope you come back again soon!

Please Join us...

Hello! Today I'd like to show you some invitations I made.

In September among the craziness in my life I got a new calling in my church.  I was called to be the Young Women's  President.  Crazy!! For those that might not know what this is; I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Our group of girls are ages 12-17.  Well I've been asked or called to preside over them to be there leader.

We only have a few girls that were coming regularly and I wanted to extend an invitation to all the girls.  I wanted to get to know them and have them get to know me.  So what better way then with Chocolate, LOL.  We did a chocolate fountain.  I made up invitations to personally invite each girl.

Each invite was a little different

All the animals are cut using the Cricut

The banner and the Sentiment is from the Silhouette.  I really like cutting vinyl for the sentiment.  I think it looks better than stamping and I can make it say whatever I want.  The Silhouette cuts so intricate I just love it for the small things.

The turnout for our night was AWESOME!!  We had more girls come then have been in months.  I'd like to say the cute invites helped, LOL.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.  I hope you come back again soon.

Baseball Easel Card

Hello again!!  Long time no talk.  This summer has been CRAZY!!
I have been crafting my little heart out just not taking the time to blog.  I'm hoping that things
have, maybe, slowed down enough to breath and well blog, lol.

My husband is a Travel Baseball Team Coach of 12 yr olds and with Travel comes LOTs of expenses.  We don't want money to be the issue for some of these players so we get a lot of our money from Fundraising and from donations or "sponsors".

Being the "Crafty" Mrs. Coach that I am, I made these cards up to give out to those who have helped our team out.  Our Team colors are Yellow and Brown so I made the cards in the Team colors.

This is how the card would come out of the envelope.  It measures 5x61/2.  The baseball and the baseball player silhouette are from the Silhouette store.

Once the card is opened up this is how it sits.  I made the banner with my Silhouette and used vinyl to cut out the sentiment, also with the Silhouette.

So I hope these little cards will let those who have helped our boys out know that we truly appreciate them and there support.

Well that's' all I have for today but maybe tomorrow I will show you the T-shirt I made for the hubby.  Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon!

God Bless America

Hi everyone!  I know it's been awhile, again.
I swear its always something.  Does anyone else feel this way?

My son plays on the All-star baseball team and a travel baseball team
and my husband coaches.  So we are always, it seems at a game, practice or
tournament. Well this last tournament we came home to find we had been burglarized.
Yep and guess what was taken?  Well besides the obvious TV, Xbox?  My husbands
laptop, ouch.  But here is the painful part....        My Gypsy was gone! 😫
Yep they took it out of its case and left the case. But sadly I still had all my cartridges
So I wasn't too upset (yes I was).  I had my Silhouette still right? WRONG!!  Well I have my
Silhouette but my laptop was gone.  It had pictures and SVG files and design studio, ugh!

Although this was devastating to my crafting the fear and feeling of violation to the kiddos was
Worse.  My sons championships rings were gone.  My daughters room ransacked.  I just don't
Understand how people can do this.  But we all have learned from this and are trying to move
           Forward.

So on a more positive note here is the last project I made.  Thought they turned out great
And they look great on my piano.

So I hope you like my patriotic decor.  I also hope this posts the way it's suppose to as I am writing from my iPad. Thanks for dropping in to take a look.  Hope to see ya agin soon!!

                                               ❤-Sarah

Saxophone Happy Birthday ~ Never-ending Card

Hello and Happy Hump day!  Today I have another Never-ending card I made for a customers brother.  I always ask what there favorite color is and what they like.  She wasn't sure on the color but she knew he liked music and played the saxophone so this is what I came up with.

The Saxophone guy is from the Cricut cartridge Quarter note.  I cut it out once in gold and once in black and then cut the sax out of the gold cut and added it to the black cut.  I really like how it turned out.

So there you have it, today's never-ending card. I hope you liked it, thanks for stopping in to take a look!

Baby Banner

Good Morning! Today I wanted to show off a little baby gift I made for my daughters STUCO teacher at school.

The kids are so excited for the baby and for there teacher. They threw her a little baby shower at school. My daughter asked me to make a banner and this is what I came up with.

I love making banners!! I wish I had more time to do it.  I would make a banner for every person for every occasion.  But I don't have the time so when I do have to make a banner I enjoy every moment.
Well thanks for stopping by to look at my banner.
