Clean or Dirty? That is the question.

Hello everyone.  Today I made a little something to try and make life a little easier.  Now I'm not sure if it will work as planned or be more of nuisance.  But there is only one way to fine out.
For those of you who didn't know, we just recently moved to a new house a couple of months ago.  Now I have never had an automatic dishwasher.  The only dishwasher I was familiar with was my Daughter and Son and to be honest they were broke most of the time...lol.  Well we now have a dishwasher and I catch the kids adding dirty dishes to the clean dishes. So I thought I'd make little magnetic signs to  put on the front of the dishwasher indicating clean or dirty.

For these I used the Chore Chart Cricut Lite Cartridge.  I cut them at 8".
For the Clean/Dirty I used the Quarter Note Cartridge Font and welded together in CCR.

I then ran them through the Xyron with the Laminate/Magnet cartridge in.

Then I trimmed down the sides and here is the final project.

Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone. Today I want to share with you a card I made for my sister for her Birthday.  She isn't real girly and she doesn't have any real hobbies so it was really hard.  I settled for cupcakes. Who doesn't like cupcakes?

This card is 6 1/2" x 5"
I used Lacy Labels cartridge for the the black back ground
The cupcakes are from Cricut Cake Birthday Cakes Cartridge.
The background paper is from the DCWV Sweet Mat stack
The stamp is a random wood stamp from my collection.
I sprayed the black with Perfect Pearls Mist in Perfect Pearl color. This gave it some shimmer.
Then I used pink Stickles on the pink part of the cupcakes.
Thanks for stopping by. Please come back again soon!

Bike Card

Well so I missed a day.  I don't know how you women do it. How you balance a full time job, kids and home and everything and still have amazing projects and blogs.  If it weren't for my Gypsy I wouldn't have this card.  I sat while at my daughters basket ball practice today and got alot of things planned out.  I then was able to come home and cut.  Now I will say it didn't come out as I had pictured it in my head at the time, but it will have to do.

Card size is 4x8
The bike was cut using the Sweethearts cartridge.
The sentiment was printed  from the computer then punched out using eKSuccess punch.
Ribbon is Michaels brand, Dashes, dots and Checks
The red scallope border is from a Recollections border punch.

Thanks for stopping by.  I know I promised Valentine's Treat bags and they are done. I'm hoping to get them up tomorrow, so check back soon.

The couple is cut from Sweethearts cartridge.
The Heart in the background was cut from the Sophie cartridge.
I used the swirl border punch by Martha Stewart.
The sentiment is from Studio G Stamped with Ruby Red Stampin up
Twine on button is Martha Stewart.
Thanks for stopping by.  Tomorrow I will show you the Valentine's treats I've been working on.

Teacher Spotlight time again.

Hello! I hope everyone has had a fabulous Sunday.  I love Sundays. Sunday is Family time. I don't worry about the house work we all just relax.
If you've been following for awhile you know that I do Teacher Spotlight for the Teachers at our Church in our Primary.  This spotlight is for a male teacher.  I find anything male and crafty to be a challenge.  I had decided to do a plain design with a Tie.  But then I remembered that I had purchased the Missionary Icon's cartridge through the Cricut Craft Room.  This has a shirt and tie.  It was perfect.  His favorite color is yellow so i Incorporated yellow.  I hope it doesn't look to feminine.

I decorate a mini clip board and a mini composition notebook that I put into a decorated gift bag.  Just a little something to let them know we appreciate there time and talent.

Thanks for stopping by to take a look, come back again soon!

DCWV Stack-a-holic Challenge

Hello again and thanks for stopping by.  I've totally and completely dropped the ball with my paper crafting and I don't like it at all.  So I decided I'm going to do as many Challenges as I can do.  Well this is the first Challenge that I came across.  It's the DCWV Stack-a-holic Challenge.  You can find it over at DCWV's Blog.

I have found that I tend to make more cards then Layouts and I'm super behind on Scrapbooks so this layout challenge for me was perfect, especially with Christmas just passing.

With this Layout I used...

DCWV paper stack Holiday Shimmer
DCWV paper stack Christmas Combo Stack
Cartridges used for Santa was Christmas Cheer
Cartridge used for "Santa" was Don Juan
Cartridge used for banner was Just a Note
Ribbon stripe used was from Michael's Holiday Cheer.
Twine is Martha Stewart
Glitter is Stickles
eK Success punch for scallop border.

Thanks DCWV for this great Challenge. It has really gotten my creative juices flowing and that is just what I needed.
Well thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peek. Hope you come back again soon. I hope to be back tomorrow with a fun project I gave for Christmas.

9 Ladies Dancing

Hi and happy Wednesday. I wanted to share a project I did back in December. Our church has an annual Christmas party and this year the theme was the 12 Days of Christmas. Each of the tables had one of the days from the song. I chose 9 for 9 ladies dancing. I got the shall we dance cartridge as a Circle member and wasn't if or when I would ever use it but I kept it just in case. I'm glad that I did because this cartridge was perfect for this project.
I used a #10 can for the base. I used skewers and popsicle sticks for attaching.
It turned out to be such a fun night and to see all the amazing and creative decorations was my favorite part. Now I'm hoping that I might be able to do some thing with this before next Christmas like maybe take out the ladies dancing saying and make it a center piece for a 9 year old birthday party. Hmm maybe, we'll have to see. Well until then it will be hanging out in my craft room.
                                                          Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I know its a day late but that has been the story of my life lately, late.  But it's a new year and I've decided to be more crafty this year and less late.  The fabulous hubby bought me an iphone 4s and now I feel so organized. I can even blog right from my phone.  So now there is no excuse.
So if you didn't know our family moved to a new home on Nov. 1 and although I have my own space I just haven't found my mojo at the new place.  I'm not sure what it is but that is my goal to figure it out.  I have a few projects I did over the last month or two that I didn't ever blog so even though there a couple Christmas themed ones I'm going to be posting them soon.
I'm so excited to see what this year brings.  I'm also thinking about putting together a "Pages through the ages" Blog Hop. So stay tuned for more information.
Well I'm off to go make something, wish me luck! I will post it as soon as I'm done.
