Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Holiday thus far. I am back and doing well. I ended up having 3 surgeries and a 7 day stay in the hospital and the recovery has been rough. But with all my time off I was able to make my Christmas Cards. They did go out late but they went out and that's what counts, right?
I wanted to include our family photo but I also wanted to have room for the cutesy stuff on the card. I think the card style is the Z-Fold.  I put the photo on the inside and decorated the outside. Each card I made a little different so I will post a few of  them all.  Hope you enjoy I know I had fun making them.

This thing we call life...

I am so overwhelmed with things to do it's making me crazy. I really needed to blog but I haven't had the time to get the pictures, upload them and blog about them. So I'm just going to have to wait. Hopefully I will be back to creating and blogging in a few weeks as for tomorrow I go in for a series of 2 back surgeries. The first is tomorrow and the second is on Thursday. Fingers crossed everything goes well!!  I have a month or so off work so hopefully I'm up to scrapping soon.

Imagine Blog Hop

Welcome and Thanks for stopping by. I am so excited for this Imagine Blog Hop because it is the first Hop that I've gotten to share a project that I've made. I wasn't going to buy an Imagine. Why? I have the Expression and the Baby, I didn't feel that I needed it. Well I watched the launch and all the beautiful projects and I couldn't control myself. I am so glad that I took the leap. I love this machine and the endless possibilities.

If you've come here from Mindy's Blog , you're on the right track. If you're just starting out, you can continue on from here and hop around in a circle until you arrive right back here! When you're done here, hop along to Jeannie's blog and see what she has created for us.

I made this little paper bag album for my daughter. She just started Jr. High this year and has become really good friends with a girl at school. I thought it would be a fun little keepsake of things they like and do together.

I used the Best Friends Cartridge only and only used the Imagine. I used the Provo Craft Punch 'n' Bind to bind the book.

I bought this several years ago on either QVC or HSN I don't remember but I have never seen it again and was curious if anyone else had ever seen it. But its great for binding smaller projects.

So here you have it my paper bag album. It was very easy . The Imagine did all the work, all I did was some inking and added some i-rock bling here and there. Speaking of i-rock......

BLOG CANDY

For this Blog Hop I'm giving away a i-rock by Imaginisce. All's I ask is that you leave a comment with a way to contact you. You don't have to be a follower unless of course you want to. So good luck and thanks for stopping by.

New Lori's Garden Cartridge

Circle members that purchased the Cricut Imagine on the Launch day qualified to recieve a Lori's Garden Imagine cartridge, for free. Well I finally recieved mine and I love it. This is the first thing that I made with the Lori's Garden. It is a thank you card that I sent to the Software Team at Provo Craft. They have worked so hard to make our machine work right and I think sometimes go un noticed.
The thank you was cut from the Beyond Birthdays cartridge on the imagine.

Thinking of you

I've done a similar card but I didn't do the envelope. On this card I changed things up a little. I then ran the envelope through the Imagine and printed the frog on the front of the evelope.

ABC Book

There are alot of photo's in this book but I want to share them all. I had alot of fun making this album. I really hope that my little niece Makenzie likes it. I laminated each pages to help make them last longer, which made the book really thick so I wasn't too sure how to bind the book. So if anyone has any suggestions I am open. I used this pink nylon chord.

I used the Mickey Font Cartridge for the Large letters and printing 101 for each word. The apple is from Making the Grade.

For the Ball I used Lifes a Beach

For the Cat I used Everyday paper dolls.

For the Dog I also used Everyday paper dolls.

For the Elephant I also used Everyday Paper dolls

For the Fish I used Everyday Paper dolls

For the Monkey I used Everyday paper dolls

For the Nurse I used Everyday paper dolls

For the Owl I used Hoot n Hollar

For the Pig I used Everyday paper dolls

I didn't really find a Queen so I used the Queens crown. I went back to see which cart I used and I can't for the life of me find the same cut. I will come back and Edit this post once I figure it out.

The Rabbit is from Everyday Paper Dolls

The star is from Indie Art

The Train is from Everyday Paper Dolls
